This Account Deletion Policy explains how users can request deletion of their ZairoHealth account and how ZairoHealth handles account closure, personal data deletion, retained records, and service impact.
This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy, Data Retention Policy, Terms & Conditions, Consent Policy, Payment Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Scope
This policy applies to accounts created on the ZairoHealth website, mobile applications, and related platforms, including accounts for:

- Hospitals and clinics

2. What Account Deletion Means
Account deletion means that ZairoHealth will close or disable your account and delete, anonymize, or restrict access to personal data associated with your account, subject to legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, payment, tax, audit, and dispute-resolution requirements.
Some data may be retained where necessary or permitted by law.

If an in-app deletion feature is not available, users may email support using the contact details above.
5. Verification Before Deletion
To prevent unauthorized deletion, ZairoHealth may verify your identity using:
- OTP verification
- Registered email or phone confirmation
- Account login confirmation
- Document or KYC verification, where required
- Additional checks for hospital, seller, partner, or verified doctor accounts
Requests may be rejected or delayed if identity cannot be verified.
6. Pending Transactions or Obligations
Account deletion may be delayed or limited if you have:
- Pending payments
- Active subscriptions
- Open orders or deliveries
- Active event bookings
- Ongoing service requests
- Pending job or shift applications
- Unresolved refunds or chargebacks
- Open support tickets
- Legal, tax, audit, or compliance obligations

7. Data That May Be Deleted or Anonymized

- Marketing preferences
- User-generated content linked only to your account

9. Effect on Services
After account deletion:
- You may lose access to your profile

- You may lose access to messages, saved items, and support history
- You may need to create a new account to use ZairoHealth again
Account deletion does not automatically cancel completed transactions, legal obligations, or third-party commitments.
10. Subscriptions, Refunds, and Credits
Deleting your account does not automatically guarantee a refund.
Refunds, cancellations, subscriptions, and credits are handled according to the Refund & Cancellation Policy, Subscription Policy, and Payment Policy.
Users should cancel active subscriptions before requesting account deletion where applicable.
11. User-Generated Content
Some user-generated content, such as reviews, comments, public listings, event posts, or anonymized platform records, may remain visible after account deletion if required for platform integrity, legal compliance, or legitimate operational purposes.
Where practical, ZairoHealth may anonymize such content.
12. Third-Party Data
If your information was shared with hospitals, clinics, sellers, payment gateways, event organizers, service providers, or other third parties before account deletion, those third parties may retain information according to their own legal obligations and policies.
You may need to contact those third parties directly for deletion requests involving their systems.
13. Processing Timeline
ZairoHealth will aim to review account deletion requests within a reasonable period after verifying identity and checking pending obligations.
Completion timelines may vary depending on account type, pending transactions, legal requirements, technical processes, backups, and third-party dependencies.
14. Backup Systems
Deleted data may remain in backup or disaster-recovery systems for a limited period before being overwritten or securely removed.
Backup data is access-restricted and used only for recovery, security, legal, or compliance purposes.
15. Withdrawal of Request
If deletion has not yet been completed, you may contact support to withdraw your request.
Once deletion is completed, account recovery may not be possible.
16. Re-Registration
After account deletion, you may be allowed to create a new account, subject to ZairoHealth policies.
ZairoHealth may refuse re-registration where the previous account was deleted, suspended, or terminated due to fraud, misuse, legal risk, or policy violation.
